Saint Mattress on a Sunday
first the dirt
the sweeping up
of earth's dust
hay to throw down
my comfort gesture
cushions the appeasement
the self-defeat tribulation
blanket versus cover
sheeted upon more blanket
comfort for cover
raised by pallette
critter find a welcome
in, between wake and sleep
we'll find our rest, still, stiff
oh physiology and body's flex
i twitch and toss thoughts per
a need for a spring solution
